A Kick Up The 80s

A Kick Up The 80s are an authentic, totally live tribute band dedicated to the covering the very best in eighties pop. From synthesiser-led new romanticism, via the high energy sounds of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, to the jubilant classic pop of WHAM! – The theme act brings the memories flooding back! This eighties act consists of up to a 90 minute show (plus encores), including choreography and several costume changes. The group supply our own professional PA system with Sound Technician, and full stage and effect lighting. All of their equipment is PAT approved and they have full public liability cover for your function.

Planet Pop

With a selection of the very best eighties classics, Planet Pop offers a brilliant night of nostalgia. Artists featured include Wham!, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Madness, Duran Duran, Rick Astley, Culture Club, Depeche Mode, Blondie and The B52's. How could you not slip on your dancing shoes and join them on the dance floor? The group formed back in 1998 and has performed for a huge selection of satisfied clients from weddings and corporate events to themed hotel parties & university balls. They are also very popular for charity & fundraising events. Planet Pop really will take you back in time to the legwarmers and make up of the dynamic decade.

Simply 80s

A superb 6-piece 1980s theme tribute band that play an awesome set of classic Rock and Pop anthems from the decadent decade of deely-boppers and the Rubik's cube. All members are graduates of the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music, where Simply 80s was originally conceived. They combine the highest levels of musicianship with engaging and energetic live performance to produce a show that brings the sounds and sights of the Eighties alive. They are guaranteed to delight at weddings, parties, student/corporate functions and other events. The review in the Stage said “With drums, guitar and bass augmented by a male lead and two girls on backing vocals, they raced through their set of eighties classics including Video Killed the Radio Star, Kids in America and Livin’ on a Prayer before closing the set with what is fast becoming a showcase standard, Love Shack.
