The Musica Viva String Quartet is made up of professional
well-established musicians based in the Yorkshire
area, specialising in playing music for weddings,
either during a ceremony, at the reception, or both.
They are perfect for a church ceremony or civil
ceremony. The Musica Viva string quartet was originally
formed from players in the Slaithwaite Philharmonic
Orchestra. There is a wealth of talent amongst the
players, and a stylish selection of wedding
music is on offer: from Bach, Mozart, and Pachelbel
to The Beatles, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and songs from
the shows (to name just a few). Several combinations
of instruments are available in addition to the
string quartet, as each person plays several instruments,
for example, piano, flute, saxophone & clarinet.
(They can even offer didgeridoo!) |
Quality, professionalism, and personalized service have
made the Musica Viva string quartet one of the finest
string quartets in the north of England. Prestigious
venues they have played recently include Carlton
Towers, near Goole; Seaham Hall, near Sunderland;
Crathorne Hall, near Yarm; Headlam Hall Hotel, near
Darlington; Allerton Castle, near Knaresborough;
and Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland. |
