Jam – New Age Jam
There are two essential aspects to a successful tribute
band: Firstly to acknowledge a group that people want
to hear and secondly to sound like the band in question.
A third factor to look like your heroes helps, but it's
not that crucial. The new age Jam meets all three criteria.
These boys are the nearest you'll get to the real thing.
Nationally hailed as one of the best in the business,
the band has built a large following throughout the country.
The brilliance of Paul Weller is laid bare in The New
Age Jam's energetic set. From 1977's In the City through
to 1982's The Gift, taking in A Bomb in Wardour St, Down
In The Tube Station, Strange Town and many more Classics.
And what a high to finish on, the distinctive riff to
A Town Called Malice sends the place wild.

in Brazil, the involvement with the charity eventually
led to a meeting with Led Zeppelin's legendary guitarist

them all the best.

only one other person that sounds like that!!”

Status Quo – Status
Clone
Status Clone plays tribute to Status Quo by successfully
capturing all the ingredients in a fast-moving,
power-packed stage show. Quo's best-known numbers
are delivered in typically hard-hitting manner,
providing a crowd-pleasing performance guaranteed
to excite even the most apathetic audience! The
emphasis is always firmly on generating a good-time
atmosphere via familiar favourites, rather than
re-creating obscure album tracks that only the most
ardent fan might appreciate. The formula certainly
works, at least if audience reaction and repeat
bookings are anything to go by. Simply put, Status
Clone is loud, lively and a whole lot of fun. Just
like the real thing in fact - which of course is
what being the best Status Quo tribute band around
is all about!

UB40 – Rats In The
Kitchen
Rats in the Kitchen are from UB40’s home
town of Birmingham by a group of friends who all
shared a common love of reggae music. They are in
demand throughout the length and breadth of the
UK and beyond as the number one, officially endorsed
UB40 style act. It would be foolish though to view
the 'Rats' as simply a 'Stars in their Eyes' style
tribute band as they are also accomplished musicians
in their own right. As well as the brilliant covers
of UB40 hits, they also drop Bob Marley and ska
classics into the set. The audience, UB40 fans or
not, cannot help but enjoy themselves. Testimony
to this can be found in the feedback left on the
official UB40 guest book from gig-goers and the
glowing reports written in the Stage newspaper.

Who – Who’s
Who
Who's Who is a dynamic powerful tribute band from
the UK with all of the energies, passion and angst
of The Who at their peak. A closer visual representation
would be very hard to find. Drummer, Paul (Moonie)
Kemp resembles Keith so much in his looks and playing
style that Keith's mother invited him home for tea
when they met at a fan club convention! Who's Who's
exiting live performances with Townshend's leaping
and Daltrey's microphone whirling antics receive
incredible reactions and at one of them Pete Townshend's
brother, Paul, danced at the front of the stage
for the whole performance ecstatically declaring
later that the band were "Astounding and brilliant!”
