To give you an idea of the versatility and musicality
of the band, we've recorded a selection of music for you
to listen to. At present only shortened versions of these
songs are available.
The Bacchus String Quartet are highly skilled in performing
a whole range of material including all of the well loved
and best known classical pieces. Whilst many guests may
not be too familiar with the names of the classical tunes,
they will of course have heard them on adverts and films.
The quartet provides the perfect mood as guests arrive
at the function and they perform their elegant string
sound for easy listening background music. This provides
the perfect start to your event. As well as performing
the well loved pieces by classical composers such as Bach,
Handel, Mozart and Beethoven, they also perform a selection
of more modern music in a classical style, for example
the music of Madness and Queen. is a hugely experience
ensemble. The quartet is regularly asked to add the right
combination of elegance and sophistication for a wedding
celebration. They are perfectly suited to either the formality
and tradition of a church wedding or the relative informality
of a civil ceremony. They are also the perfect combination
to provide elegant background music during pre dinner
drinks and whilst people are enjoying their meal. They
perform at many civic events and are absolutely delightful
