Scottish and Irish Ceilidh Music - Chrissie Cullen Repertoire

Ceilidh Dancing

The Ceilidh style of dancing gives your guests the chance to meet each other naturally during the course of the evening. Many dances are 'progressive', which means that during the dance, couples will change partners regularly, and this is why Ceilidhs are one of the most successful social entertainments. For a general ceilidh dance, the Chrissie Cullen Band will include both Scottish and Irish dances as well as `square' dances such as the Cumberland Square Eight. If required, they can also sing Scottish and Irish waltzes including the St Bernard's Waltz and the Veleta.

Unless you have a lot of guests with a Celtic descent a real mix of Scottish and Irish Ceilidh music is the order of the day. This type of music is so infectious that everyone will really want to get on the dance floor and enjoy the party in style. The Chrissie Cullen group are experts in helping everyone relax and join in with all the fun.
